Photographers Association” his four submitted portrait photographs
scored high. Among other awards his peers awarded him the title
of “Portrait Photographer of the Year" of Ontario. In 2008
Gerd received the titel "Portrait Photographer of the Year"
for a second consecutive time.
Gerd draws from the knowledge he gained in photographing family
portraits outside in many different location for over 30 years.

to Florida, Quebec to B.C., Texas to New York, Iowa to Alberta
among many other locations. In the process he has gained a wealth
of experience which has trained his eye and enables him to adopt
